I've found the most suitable comment on youtube to describe exactly how I feel about Mew.

The only reason I hate Mew is because every freakin time I try to listen to one song, I end up listening to EVERY song by them and it takes all fkn day. :-)

半年後の季節。

I just wonder, was the summer always this long? The June was really really hot this year in Japan, so that probably makes me think the summer longer. All language have this term "time flies" or "time is money". It is so true, time run away so quickly from our sight so we have no time to waste.

I believe the autumn or the winter this year will be great season for me. No reason. I just feel that. I hope I can go somewhere again just like I did in last year. And I want to be like the picture above. Drinking hot coffee in cold snowy country.

That is the best.

「月子とイグアナ山椒魚」の挿絵を描かせて頂きました。

あと、最後のアンケート「印象深い再読体験を味わえたとっておきの１冊教えてください」で、
「夏の庭」（湯本香樹美さん著）を紹介させて頂きました。
好きなんです。「夏の庭」。

Nursery Rhyme

長い間できてなかったイギリスの知人から頂いたお仕事。
子供向けの絵をたくさん描きます。

イギリスには数多くNursery Rhymeが存在するため
多くの分野の作品に影響を与えています。

童話が大変多く生み出された英国文学の背景には
Nursery Rhymeの存在は無視できないものでしょう。

そうやって見てみると、個々はもちろん違ったストーリー、違った作者の童話でも
英国独特のセンスや、ちょっと変わった個性を持つキャラクターの存在感なども、
同じわらべ歌がモチーフになっているとわかると、合点が行く気もします。

My daily life

I love watching ironing. I love watching the wrinkle disappearing. I love the steam coming out. Everything feel so good. Make you comfortable. I love watching the coffee dripping. It is so different from just making instant one. It takes more time but it makes you feel you're actually making the coffee. You can smell it better. And obviously the taste better.

原宿おまもり最終日

私の大好きな原宿のおまもりが、今日で最終日でした。

長年裏原宿の食堂として多くの人に愛されてきたおまもり！
私が最初に個展をしたのもこの場所でした。

なくなってしまう前にご飯を食べに行ってきました。
やっぱり美味しい！













おまもりスタッフの村田さんと伊藤さん。
お客さんともニコニコ話しかけてくれるお店でした！！！

Wedding

先日、親友の結婚式に行ってきました。
ウェルカムボードを描かせてもらいました。

年内には夫婦そろってアメリカに行ってしまいます。
ふうむ、これでアメリカに旅行する口実ができました。
ふふふ。。。
